Partnerships
Clear Arts Journal considers partnerships that fit thoughtful arts coverage and are clearly separate from editorial decisions. A collaboration must be understandable to readers and labelled wherever it appears.
Possible collaborations
We consider relevant partner placements, clearly labelled announcements, and collaborations connected with arts learning or cultural activity. The proposed subject, placement and audience should be stated plainly. We do not accept a collaboration on the assumption that editorial coverage, a positive opinion or a particular interpretation will follow.
Labels and separation
Paid or partner material is labelled clearly at the point where readers encounter it. Partner placements are kept distinct from independent articles, and a label does not imply that Clear Arts Journal endorses every claim made by a partner. We may decline material that is misleading, poorly matched to the publication or impossible to label clearly.
Make a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Describe the proposed collaboration, the material or placement involved, and how it would be identified to readers. Please do not include private or sensitive information in an initial enquiry.
Art rewards close attention
There is no single right response to a work. Looking, listening and reading carefully can show how its choices shape what you experience.
